FID was awarded at MLK Diversity Awards Brunch!

Foundation for Inter-Cultural Dialogue received the diversity award of the year in community group category at 9th Annual Tempe Human Relations Commission Martin Luther King Jr. Diversity Awards Brunch. The ceremony was held at 10:30am on Monday, January 15th, at The Buttes Resort, 2000 Westcourt Way in Tempe. The awards brunch honors community members, businesses, and groups who have demonstrated a commitment to diversity in Tempe. The ceremony hosted more than 400 guests. The program started with the welcome speech of Human Relations Comission Chair, Janis Webb and continued with the remarks of Tempe Mayor Hugh Hallman. Keynote speech was given by Dr. Thomas J. Davis who teaches constitutional and legal history at Arizona State University. Dr. Davis is an attorney and historian, he serves as chair of the State of Arizona Superior Court for Maricopa County's Judicial Merit Commission.
